Effect of Hipro concentrate on the condition of broilers
The company “Schothorst Feed Research” (Lelystad, the Netherlands) conducted a study of sunflower concentrate used as a substitute for soybean meal to determine its effect on the condition of broilers. 1008 heads of Ross 308 broilers were involved in the experiment.
The results of the study showed that broilers fed a starter diet in which soybean meal was replaced with sunflower concentrate had significantly higher weights on day 14 and 28.
The conclusion is that soybean meal can be completely replaced by sunflower concentrate, and it should be introduced starting from the pre-starter diet for the formation of a normal digestive system in broiler chickens.

According to the results of the experiment, the economic efficiency of using the additive in broiler chicken feed was determined. Partial replacement soybean cake on protein sunflower concentrate in comparison with the basic variant of mixed fodder gives better growth rates.
That is, replacing soybean with protein sunflower concentrate improved feed conversion in the chickens, probably due to the increased level of metabolizable energy in the feed.
